25 Charting Errors Sure to Make You Giggle
All nurses are human, which means all nurses are bound to make mistakes in their career. While some mistakes have large consequences for the nurse and the patient, some mistakes are easily fixed and become a good story to tell down the road. Often mistakes that become good laughs are errors made while charting.
Here are a few charting errors that are sure to make you laugh harder than you have in days:
- “Acute pain related to witchcraft.”
- “She has no rigors or shaking chills, but her husband states she was very hot in bed last night.”
- “While in ER, she was examined, X-rated and sent home.”
- “The patient has been depressed since she began seeing me in 1993.”
